Conflict in Nadzhran is armed conflicts between troops of Saudi Arabia and Houthi insurgents in the province Nadzhran of Saudi Arabia, and also rocket attacks of border territories of Nadzhran. The conflict began because happened invasion into Yemen of the coalition led by Saudi Arabia. ==History== On May 5, 2015 after shelling by Houthis of neighborhood of the city of Nadzhran, the authority of the country temporarily closed local educational institutions and the airport. On June 19 the group of political activists — representatives of various tribes of the province Nadzhran located in the south of Saudi Arabia on border with Yemen — created the military-political movement "Akhrar an-Nadzhran" "Free citizens of Nadzhran", which purpose is fight for independence of Saudi Arabia. Nadzhran's tribes which adjoined the new organization declared independence of the province and declared accession to the Yemen troops in fight against the Saudi authorities as Riyadh, according to their version, "broke all contracts signed earlier with tribes". On June 20 fighters of the movement "Akhrar En-Nadzhran" seized military base in the south of the kingdom. At the same time passed bloody collisions in the settlement Kabash in 10 km to the South from the capital of the region. On June 29 the new separatist movement "Nadzhran's Youth" which also intends to fight for independence of the region was created. On June 30 fighters of the movement "Akhrar En-Nadzhran" brought down the Air Force helicopter of Saudi Arabia.
